Man, 21, Nabbed On I-84 After Large Amount Of Drugs Found In Residence

A 21-year-old man is behind bars after he was located on I-84 as investigators uncovered a large amount of drugs at a Fishkill residence, state police said.

Investigators from the Hudson Valley Community Narcotics Enforcement Team executed a search warrant of a residence on Crestwood Circle in Fishkill on Thursday, March 8 and approximately 85.5 grams of cocaine, and 152 grams of marijuana were seized, police said.

Simultaneously, troopers located, and arrested, Anthony Decola of Fishkill operating a 2011 Subaru on Interstate 84 in Fishkill.

Decola was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree with intent to sell, a Class B felony.

He was arraigned before the Town of Wappinger Court and remanded to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail or $20,000 bond.
